Improving Educational Standards Some seventeen years after the end of apartheid children in rural areas are still suffering from poverty and poor educational standards. Education is the key that will open the door to employment and better life chances. To help schools to improve teaching and learning we are providing support in the form of:- · resources and training · supplementary subject tuition · extra curricular activities

As we are a charity we rely on volunteers to give money and their time to make our projects happen. Volunteer teachers from the UK have been visiting Tyume Valley since 2003. Click here to find out more about volunteering |
