Encouraging after School Activities Clubs These are run by the School and Community and the children and they provide an opportunity for everyone to come together in a more relaxed environment. They provide an atmosphere in which counselling can take place as well as activities such as sports, music, arts, crafts. drama and environmental activities. These clubs also:- · Involve the Community by encouraging the passing on of local skills to the children and creating important links with the school and staff. · Build Confidence and Life Skills as the students can actively help to organise the clubs which have an important social function. · encourage cultural skills, physical activities and care of the environment |
